    Criminal Law

Lisa began her legal career defending clients on traffic, DUI, misdemeanor , and felony matters.  From there, she became a Prosecutor and held that position for close to a decade.  In her capacity as a Prosecutor, she handled matters ranging from traffic and DUI cases to complex matters involving areas such as Financial Crimes, Armed Robbery and Attempt Murder.  Most notably, Lisa was the Supervisor of a Domestic Violence Courtroom handling both Misdemeanor and Felony Domestic Violence matters as well as Orders or Protection.  She also had the opportunity to supervise a Traffic/Misdemeanor Courtroom.

Lisa has extensive Courtroom experience and more specifically trial experience.  She has tried hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases before Judges and close to a Hundred Jury trials on both the misdemeanor and felony level.  She also had the opportunity to litigate hundreds of order of protection hearings.  With the extensive trial skills and breadth of knowledge in all areas of criminal law, including Juvenile, she is able to use her past experience as both a Prosecutor and Defense attorney to evaluate a case from both sides and provide the best possible defense to her clients.

The ability to negotiate on a case and obtain the best possible outcome for her clients is one of her strong suits.  She also knows when a case should be taken to trial and will zealously advocate for her clients.
